BlackBerry – PlayBook Tablet with 16GB Review
By Customer

Cheers, RIM!

I only have my BB and let me tell you the table of God himself wrote the 10 commandments that had been. Sweet, sexy and very quick! The material is dying, QNX is super smooth and soft. I have no problem waiting for future applications. RIM is back in style! The good thing about him incredibly sexy hardware OS surprisingly smooth with excellent multi-tasking. What is not so great: Oh, I’m waiting for native applications and e-mail / calendar.

Love how portable it is!

I can’t believe how light and small it is! Fits in my purse, no problem, without adding too much bulk. And when I bridge it to my BlackBerry Bold, it makes catching up on email super easy. (Love the games, too! Fun way to kill time when I’m stuck on the metro.)
What’s great about it: Combo of size and power

I would recommend this to a friend!

wonderful!

The blackberry playbook is just what I anticipated and more. Well done RIM. the bright screen and the speed, easy handling – very user friendly.  745TDBanty 130614

Xperia Tablet Z

The Sony XPERIA Tablet Z is the company’s fresh attempt to try and make a place for itself in the 10-inch tablet segment, which typically is ruled by the iPad. The Tablet Z improves a lot upon the Tablet S — the first and most apparent distinction is the super-thin design and a light 495 grams weight for a 10-inch tablet. At the moment, it holds the crown for being the thinnest and lightest tablet in the world. This kind of slender design is also what the XPERIA Z smartphones are going for. Again, the next striking feature borrowed from the phone is dust proof and water resistant IP57 grade protection.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z - Water Resistant

The 10.1-inch screen has a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, which may not be as pixel-dense as the 10-inch iPad, but it is definitely a ton better than the 1280 x 800 pixel filled predecessor, the Tablet S. They also claim the glass to be shatter-proof which is good to know, since tablets are prone to slipping out of your hand, if all luck deserts you. Moving on from the sights, the sounds of the Tablet Z should be nice owing to the stereo speakers aboard this device.

sony-xperia-tablet-z-display-screen-guard

The innards of the Tablet Z are powered by a Quad-core 1.5GHz processor and an ample 2GB of RAM. There’s 16GB and 32GB of storage options, plus a microSD card slot to increase it further. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and will be upgraded to 4.2 eventually. There’s a fancy 8MP sensor at the back, in case you need to shoot good quality images while looking like you’re holding a tea tray. Thankfully, there’s an equally high 2.2MP sensor up front which is more than sufficient for HD video calls. A 6000 mAh battery packed inside is quoted to give 10 hours of multimedia usage.

Much like the iPad, there’s a WiFi only and a WiFi with SIM card, that supports not just 3G, but also a whopping 6 bands of 4G LTE. A nifty feature on the Tablet Z is an IR transmitter, that doubles this android tablet as a remote control for your living room entertainment devices (TVs, music systems etc).

Breakdown of Android tablet market shows small slates rule the roost

The market for Android tablets appears hotter for less expensive small slates than their bigger, pricier counterparts. On Friday, Animoca, a cross-platform app publisher of entertainment products for Android devices, shared its internal data of the Android tablet market. The figures come from Animoca users around the world for one month, ending March 20, with a sample size of 978,000. When figuring market share, the company assumes that 75 million Android tablets are in use.

Android tablet share

Animoca notes that there are numerous Android tablets that follow this list, but Samsung, Amazon and Google are clearly the bigger players here. Note that Google’s Nexus 7 is actually built by Asus, which has a few larger slates on the list.

Assuming Animoca’s data is representative of the Android tablet PC market at large, it shows the development of the trends spotted in late 2010: small tablets have some advantages over larger ones. The lower costs are surely a factor but the improved portability over their larger cousins could be influencing the market as well.

This actually could bode well for Microsoft if it is indeed planning a smaller version of its Surface tablets. The current product line doesn’t appear to be making a huge dent in the tablet  or PC markets just yet. If the company can keep the costs down — Surface RT is too expensive compared to Intel Atom Windows 8 tablets, in my opinion — while focusing the experience on touch-friendly applications, a smaller Surface could outsell its big brothers.

7. Samsung Galaxy Note 800

The Samsung Galaxy Note was an incredible device creating the phablets category. Its best innovating feature was the S-Pen which was essentially a stylus but with a lot of added functionality. The best thing about the Note 800 is that it brings all the awesome functionality of the S-Pen to a 10.1-inch display. Put simply, the Note 800 is the best Android tablet we have seen till date even surpassing the Asus Transformer Prime in its raw performance. Resistive screens are made from some layers of glass or perhaps plastic. When a tough thing such as a stylus pen is pushed on the screen, the different layers make effect. Any tough thing can be used on this screen and they are usually popular where a stylus is going to be used.

SmartQ U7 is the Android Tablet- Pico Projector Hybrid

The pico-projector community has already established itself, and there seems like there is an abundance of pico projectors. Tabjectors, on the other hand, doesn’t really have a big marketplace. Tabjectors are like tablets and pico projectors combined into one. The Android tablet  PC features both a 7-inch LCD display and an integrated pico projector.

You may think that combining so many different technology into one, that the specs itself are going to be awful, the SmartQ U7 on the other hand actually has pretty decent specs. The base configuration offers a dual core TI OMAP 4430 processor which has a 1GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and micro SD expansion. You also can hook up a HDMI cord, and use Wi-Fi connectivity.

This tablet PC just seems like the new technology that most people use nowadays. Now you can just use the SmartQ U7 for more than personal uses, but you can use it for entertainment and for business as well.

Which makes us mobile users wonder? When technology is combining, and smaller devices are able to more things, it makes you really think. How far can these technological devices advance, and how would they make there smaller, easier to use, and more affordable? These are all great questions for mobile users, and it keeps us on our toes to wait for the next big thing. My person interest, and what I am waiting for is when Apple is going to decide to plunge into the pico projector industry. I wonder what IF they make a pico projector hybrid with their iPad or iPhone, and what features that it would bring.

The great thing about technological advances is that we don’t know what direction it’s going to take. I would definitely say the SmartQ U7 Android tablet/Pico Projector is definitely a new thing to look out for. 745TDBanty 130527

The volume rocker, however did not respond very well, and the Nexus has no buttons to disable the automatic screen orientation. This is only complicated by the menu.

The multi-radio operator
Thanks to Near Field Communication (NFC) to exchange data quickly with another NFC-compatible device. This technique is called Android Beam. The Nexus 7 also communicates via Wi-Fi with the outside world. Bluetooth is also on board, but an HDMI output for connection to a television missing. The most expensive Nexus-7 model supports UMTS.

Conclusion: Google Nexus 7
The Nexus 7 is fast, easy and does not least thanks to the great display simply fun. Jelly Bean makes clever improvements for smooth operation.
